I wrote this track mostly during Lent. It has a repentance tone and flavour. Lyrically designed to teach and show the spiritual state of man pre and post salvation. But also designed to be sung corporately for public worship consumption. Again I tried to write 'outside' the box for corporate lyrical cliché styles. I'm intentionally trying to use deeper words like, "repentance", "Contrite", "despair", "Hostile" etc. and how these again deepen our understanding of our spiritual state in sin and through forgiveness.

*Disclaimer* If you can hear a little "clip" at exactly 3:23 it's my children playing with toys on the the wooden floor upstairs directly above where I was recording on the main vocal parts. In the end I just left it in the take. Just to keep it different? ;)
